Digitally to the email address you provided. Depending on your package, you'll receive a high-quality WAV audio file, plus cover art (Gold & Platinum) and an HD lyric video (Platinum only). Silver: 5–7 business days. Gold: 4–6 business days. Platinum: 3–5 business days. Timelines begin once order, payment, and story details are confirmed.

If delay is on our end, contact us immediately. We will offer expedited completion at no extra cost, a partial refund, or a full refund if production has not yet begun. Delays caused by incorrect contact info or incomplete story submissions are not covered.

All orders are processed in USD. If you're ordering from outside the United States, your bank or payment provider will handle the currency conversion automatically at the time of payment.

Yes. All payments are processed securely through one of the world's leading PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. SongsSmith never stores, accesses, or retains your full card details.

You may cancel within 24 hours of placement for a full refund — provided creative production has not yet started. Once our team has begun writing or composing, the order cannot be cancelled. Email support@dev.songssmith.com with your order reference number.

The Platinum package offers fastest standard delivery at 3–5 days. For urgent deadlines, contact us before ordering; rush availability depends on artists’ workload. Tip: Always order at least 7–10 days in advance to allow time for revisions.

A revision covers minor adjustments to your delivered song — such as small lyric changes, tweaks to the vocal tone of specific lines, or subtle mood refinements. A revision is not a full rewrite, a genre change, or a completely new creative direction. If you're unsure whether your request qualifies as a revision, email us at support@dev.songssmith.com and we'll advise before using one of your allocated revisions.

Revision turnaround times follow a similar timeline to original delivery — typically 2–4 business days depending on your package and the nature of the changes requested. The sooner and more clearly you communicate your revision notes, the faster we can turn it around.

Contact us at support@dev.songssmith.com and we'll work with you through the revision process included in your package. Because music is subjective, we cannot guarantee every expectation will be met, but we will always try to get as close as possible to your vision.

Because every song is a custom-made digital product, refunds are not available once production has begun. However: you may cancel within 12 hours for a full refund (if production hasn't started). If SongsSmith fails to deliver entirely, a full refund may be issued. If your song arrives late due to our error, a partial or full refund may be offered. Always reach out to us directly before contacting your bank or payment provider.

Your song is licensed for personal, non-commercial use: play at a personal event (wedding, birthday), share with friends and family, post on personal social media accounts. Commercial use (brand promotion, ticketed events, business social media) requires a separate Commercial License — contact support@dev.songssmith.com.

The intellectual property rights (lyrics and composition) remain with SongsSmith unless otherwise agreed in writing. You receive a personal license for private, non-commercial use. If you need full copyright ownership or broader usage rights, contact us before ordering.

You may post on your personal social media accounts and use in personal videos/slideshows. If the account or channel is for a brand, business, or public figure — or if the video will be monetized — a Commercial License is required. Contact us if unsure.

Absolutely. All personal stories, names, and details submitted are treated as confidential. SongsSmith will never publicly share, publish, or distribute your personal information or your song without your consent. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Once your payment is confirmed, you'll receive an email acknowledging your order and summarizing exactly what you've purchased.

Within 12–24 hours, our team will begin working on your lyrics. A first draft will be sent to you via email for review — we want to make sure the words truly capture your story before moving forward.

The sooner you respond to the lyrics draft, the sooner we can begin musical production. There's no fixed waiting period — as soon as you approve the lyrics, our artists and producers get straight to work recording, mixing, and mastering your song to a professional studio standard.

Once your completed song is delivered, if there's anything you'd like refined — whether that's a lyric change or the tone in which certain lines were recorded — you can use your allocated revisions to request those adjustments.

Yes. When filling out your order form, you can specify your preference for a male or female voice. We'll do our best to match your request based on artist availability within your chosen genre.

Consider sharing: recipient's name and relationship; occasion; favourite memories or shared experiences; inside jokes, nicknames, or meaningful phrases; personality (funny, romantic, adventurous); specific emotions or messages; preferred genre or mood; any words or lines you'd love included. There's no such thing as too much detail.

Yes — you can include specific lines, phrases, or even full lyrics in your order, and our artists will incorporate them into your song.

• If you include more than 60 words per minute, they may not all make it into the song — but we'll do our best.
• Let us know whether you'd like your lyrics used exactly as written, or if you're happy for our artists to adapt and refine them as they see fit.
• For copyright and licensing reasons, any lyrics you submit must be original and owned by you, the person placing the order.

We can write a song with a similar feel or musical style to an artist you love, but we cannot recreate copyrighted melodies, lyrics, or specific musical signatures — every song must have an entirely original melody and lyrics. Mentioning an artist as a reference for mood or genre is fine.

Your song will be matched to the most appropriate artist based on genre and mood: Country/Americana (Fenton Garner, Nashville); Soul/R&B (Maya Vance, Chicago); Hip-Hop/Pop/Urban/Trap (Jax Theron, Atlanta); Upbeat/Dance/Jazz/Neo-Soul (Leo Kim, LA); Dream Folk/Pop/Indie (Chloe Luna, Portland).
